Time to upgrade the offense with real hitters. Not cast offs and “prospects”.

It’s crazy how bad everyone on offense has been in the second half.
I have no idea who their hitting coaches are but if this continues right through the playoffs, they should be the first pink slips handed out. And Hyde can follow them out the door. I've defended him as much as anyone but you can't fire the whole team.

And at this point I’d be thrilled for him to have Bip’s career

I didn't think he had any shot at getting to 3B on that overthrow. Duran was on the ball immediately.Holliday is always a step slow. Offensively, defensively and on the bases.
I also don't think Holliday had any idea where the ball was, so that's a bad play and on him. But it wasn't a missed opportunity because of how quickly CF got to the ball.

You don't need hitting coaches if this is the product you get. You might as well spend that salary somewhere else. Where is Terry Crowley when you need him?

I didn't think he had any shot at getting to 3B on that overthrow. Rafaella was on the ball immediately.

I agree but he's always behind the play. A more aware player would have followed the ball and at least faked going to third. The game is too fast for him right now.
