Lets break this down this way when it comes to offense and clutch hits. Adley in a deep funk. Cowser has one of the worst WPA in baseball. He is not clutch at all. Holliday is a .180 ish hitter. Rivera is a AAAA guy. What are you realistically expecting

Who needs sleeping pills when you can just watch the Orioles hit?

If Coulombe gets back I dont know if Soto will either. Akin and Perez already on. May depend on the series matchup

Ill say it til Im blue in the face. They have plateaued under Hyde. Barring a deep playoff run please have the balls to pull the trigger on a new manager

I think Hyde is an NPC manager for the most part, but I agree there seems to just be something off. They aren't playing with any fire, no intensity. For a team in the midst of a pennant race, they just seem lifeless more often than not.

Maybe it's coaching. Maybe it's the play leadership. Something just seems off.

They just aren't good enough for an extended run of good, clean baseball.

I've been saying this for awhile. Some people think they can just turn it around and play like last year. I don't see it. Our hope lies in getting healthy and hot in the playoffs added to the fact that there are really no juggernauts out there. This team has too many holes and are way too inconsistent on offense to put a long winning streak together.

I think Kimbrel's battling to not be released when Webb and Coulombe are activated (and losing).

The playoffs are often about the little things. Clean defense. Clutch hits. It just not us right now. I get anyone discouraged but I canr give up after 5 months

Maybe, but Smith is as bad or worse than Kimbrel
