I mean some have been bitching about Mayo not playing this series but you have to perform in the limited action you do see if you want to see more in a pennant race in Sept.

It is what it is. You dont win just by showing up and playing those two teams. Brown said it best earlier. Chi has flat out been the better team tonight. The loss we had to Col bothered me more than this one. That was a game we helped give away.

Gotta love this offense. Scored 3 runs in the last 13 innings of this series against the worst team in baseball history. That’s just pathetic. Bad job these past two series. Still struggling. And it’s well into September now.

Need those bottom of the order guys to step up. Holliday, Mayo, Rutschman, Cowser, O'Hearn all need to be better.
