He’s arrogant who feels empowered because he's behind a mic and everyone decided to blow him after last year’s suspension.
He can F off

How about a small press release, you know, like most broadcasters would likely do?
The guy sucks, I promise.

Funny if they simply bumped into each other and the ball dropped? Sure. But yeah, the collision had bad potential.
I don't think he's a bad play by play guy, though.

I’ll say this - we are among the last franchises that should be poking any fun whatsoever or gleaning any kind of enjoyment over the White Sox misery.
Misery loves company. We can sympathize with them.

Get another win tomorrow. Then an off day Thur where everyone can watch the Ravens.
Friday's opener against Tampa has me a bit concerned since that's Kremer's spot in the rotation. He obviously isn't going, do we bring up Mr. Rogers for a spot start or basically make it a bullpen game? At least we line up in the last two games with Eflin and Burnes.

He’s fine but he’s no Jon Miller, but that’s a pretty high standard. When Jon Miller asks the color guy a strategy question, he knows the answer himself, enough to sometimes respectfully question if there isn’t another option that also makes sense.
When Kevin brown asks Palmer or Ben a strategy question he either doesn’t know the answer or just blindly accepts what they say as gospel. Kevin Brown is good. He’s just not great.

2018 Orioles VS 2024 White Sox. 7 game series. Who you got?
O's in 6, Chris Davis has 19 strikeouts.

Kevin Brown is great. The best play by play guy we’ve had since HTS.
Ever, IMO.

Brown is fine as play by play. He was downright bad when he started, but it was a money saving hire for Johnny boy because he didn't want to spend money on any established media talent. He's improved on the PBP side dramatically.
Definitely more listenable than Baghdad Jim Hunter. Nowhere near best ever, or even best since HTS, to my ears.

I literally have no memory of Kevin Brown when he first started. I rarely watched any games then. But I think he's a fine talent and will only get better as he becomes more seasoned. For me, he's got the potential of being our very own Bob Costas. He's that good. Someone mentioned that he seemed smug, but I think that's mainly just his confidence level, knowing he's a topflight baseball announcer. I personally love listening to him, especially when he's got Big Ben next to him.

I’m very biased, but Chuck Thompson was better, as was Jon Miller in his first few years in Baltimore. I think a good PBP needs to have a good rapport with the analyst. Thompson and Brooks were great together. Maybe it’s just me, but I always felt that Palmer didn’t like Jim Hunter, but he appeared to really like Gary Thorne. Thorne wasn’t great but I enjoyed his interactions with Palmer - and I always thought Thorne was better when he worked with Bordick. Like many, I thought Proctor and Brother Low were a great team. I think Hunter was so bad he made Reghi look good. Personally, I’d put Brown behind Thompson and (a pre-ESPN) Miller.

I know he had Sunday Nigh Baseball on TV, but Miller primarily (only?) did radio here, no? He's my favorite O's broadcaster ever, listening to him on the radio at night is a big part of why I fell in love with baseball. But was thinking of Brown as the best TV guy. Thompson I know did both, but he was mostly before my time. I only recall a few sporadic TV or radio broadcasts from him, he was more of an emeritus at that point than a regular voice.
