Just no reason to let Urias hit but sub out Holliday and Cowser there.

With as hot as Jackson is right now, it’s absurd you PH for him over Urias. Just a terrible decision. Absolutely being a platoon slave. Same with bringing the god awful Soto in to face the lefty in the blow up inning. Ask any LHB if they’d rather face a terrible LHP or a competent/average RHP and they’d take the terrible LHP any day.

I would've left Holliday and Cowser in, even though the Holliday AB didn't hurt. Cowser has a much better chance than Mayo.

IMO Urias was the guy I woulda PH for thre most. Hes the weakest of the hitters due and a reverse split guy. Coulda used Slater for him. Hyde has no feel

That's how I would've played it. Let Holliday and Cowser hit. They're among your best hitters. Like you said, zero feel. Gotta get a righty up there even though Mayo has looked totally overmatched.

A dollar for your last donut says Cowser was going to be replaced in his last AB because of an injury (right forearm tightness / strain?). He's a lefty so they wouldn't take him out of CF until they needed to. 

 

Otherwise it makes no freakin sense to take out a guy with a 17 game hitting streak (and probably the best bat in the O's lineup since the ASB).

Seth Johnson and Moises Chace for Soto was a crazy trade by Elias. Definitely reeks of a panic move even if you aren't as high as I was on those 2.
