Ridiculous you have to be following the Minn game right now.

Magic number against them should be 1

About to be. And that's the magic number for clinching the playoffs.

3 to clinch top seed. KC and Det are tied but we have tiebreak against KC (so 2 is magic number for them) but Det has tiebreak over (so 3 is magic number for them).

Yeah. Im really worried about shutting Det down for the #1 WC seed. Well not really worried but kinda worried

Yankees have us dormie so as soon as we lose a game against them, they'll pack it in and basically let us win the rest. Getting swept or even losing 2 against them seems much more unlikely than it deserves to be just based on current quality of play.

Guess Cleveland is a factor for top seed so maybe not the total rollover I'd hope for, but some guys are gonna get time off.

Meh. They still need to hold off Cle for the top seed

Well they are 2.5 up on Cle too now and have the tiebreaker on them. They could rest Soto and Judge once in the series each but I wouldnt expect more.

Hopefully TB gets 1 from Det because I fully expect Det to sweep Chi. If TB gets 1 Ill feel good about holding onto the top WC. As troubled as we look I think we can win 2 more on the year

Det up 2-0. I fully expect them to win out and get to 88 wins. Means we would have to win 3 of 6 to get to 89.

Detroit wins 2-1, so the O's lead is 3.5 and Detroit has the tiebreaker.

Missed Skubal both times and went 2-4 against them. We did it to ourselves if we don’t hang on to WC1.

It sure was. So many have been. It isn’t just the losing, it’s the ways they keep losing. I’ve become numb to it. Never ever thought I’d feel this apathetic about an Orioles playoff team. That said, of course I’ll be hanging on every pitch next week no matter what. But this sucks,

Lets get in first. As irrational as it may be as we sit here today Im still afraid we find a way to lose out and miss

The O's are going to back into a playoff spot mostly because the teams that might have caught them have been even worse. KC and Minn have been dreadful. Hard to generate much enthusiasm but maybe I will flip a switch come Monday.

I mean, you have to. It’s a 162 game season. All the games count. It’s brutal the way they’ve played these last few months, but their play the first 3 months counts too and that’s why they will make the playoffs. So at the end of the day, they will dance and deserve to dance. They will have earned it. I’m apathetic, but come Monday, it’s goose bumps and nerves and I’ll never take that for granted. Not preaching. I get it, trust me, I get it.

Twins down early 1-0 against the Marlins. Royals and Nats tied in DC in the 3rd after rain delayed the start.

4-0 Miami/Minnesota

0-0 Nationals/Royals
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Can we clinch tonight?

If we win and Minnesota goes on to lose, does that do it?
