Glad they found other starting options, but looking forward to him being in the pen.
Pretty remarkable story. He's been pretty vital. Imagine picturing that in Spring Training.

Tremendous acquisition, and a big part of this staff.

If there was any question of him being on the OD roster, I think that's over.

MASN:
Albert Suárez will begin his injury rehab assignment next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday. He's pitched once this season and remains on the 60-day injured list with a right subscapularis strain.

Getting a second opinion on his elbow, so that's probably not good.
Damn, feel bad for him.
Was good seeing him get back, and was excited at the thought of having him available as a swing guy next year
Fingers crossed that it's not the worst news.

Probably the right call especially since Wells has looked better his last couple outings.
Hope he clears waivers and we can keep him, but I expect he'll get claimed by somebody.

Doubt he gets claimed. He is cooked

I have to admit, I don't think I've seen him pitch this season. Why do they keep kicking him to the curb? He isn't lights out, but he's far better than Enns. I understand that he'll probably clear waivers, stay with the org, and probably be brought back up, again. But it seems odd that he isn't good enough to keep, but not bad enough to walk away from.
If you’re going to build a winning team, then at some point you have to get out of development mode and move into contending mode. - Dayton Moore
