Yup. Great point. The guy can hit. Now, he might not hit over his SSS here for 2 months and I get that hes a walking injury. We all unferstand that. We arent signing him for 3 years here and expecting him to play everyday. We want him to be a RH hitting threat for 2 months. Nothing more. Rubey paid 5-6 mil to improve the the bottom of the roster. But one that was needed with our weakness against LHP of late
91% and 93% in exit velocity and hard hit %. Elite. Very good barrel %. O's have done a good job with these kinds of guys lately (O'Hearn).

Did it say how much cash Chi is giving us?I think I saw somewhere the Orioles got cash as part of that deal. Maybe it was the $3M they'll pay him to cut him loose after the season.

No. I didn't realize until the Eflin trade that some of these guys have trade kickers in their contracts (thought that was just an NBA thing), so maybe Jimenez had one and CHI paid it. No idea.

It would be nice to know the amount. The more they got, the better I feel. I still don’t like the fact that he can only contribute in one way and he hasn’t been very good in that department either this year.
