Hate it. Growing worse the more I think about it.
Generally thats a sign that it'll work out just fine, but man. Hate this.

They traded two spare parts for another spare part.
Rogers is probably better than Irvin, and Povich right now... and he allows Suarez to go to the pen.... but should have done better.
If he was all you could get as a starter, they should have turned their attention to get a more impactful reliever.

Stowers is a spare part. Norby has value.
They both had value. They'll go to the Marlins and start, and have a decent chance of being productive regular players. Nice players for Miami to have while under team control.
But they were both spare parts for the O's now and going forward.

Not a sexy deal but something to re-evaluate at the end of the season.

They're both spare parts unless Holliday and Mayo get traded for Skubal in the next ten minutes

Bad deal, even worse process when you look around the league. Do better in the off-season. It's not like these needs were difficult to see coming.

They better have a magic plan to make him good again. And they better hit on it.

Not sure about this from a getting value situation but from a "thank God these guys who clearly have mastered AAA are gonna finally get regular playing time" angle I'm happy for Norby and Stowers

With Norby gone, does this mean Holliday is on his way back up, I hope so because I rather not see any more of Urias

Weber said it was going to be Vavra.

Terrin Vavra. Now there's a blast from 2022.

I think this means that they straight up prefer Rogers to Fedde and I can't wrap my head around that.

It’s like a worse Irvin trade. Little upside, with potential to feel really bad in a few years. Maybe I’ll look dumb when they unlock his 2021 form but I won’t hold my breath.
