3R HR and game tying hit against NY in the 11th. I'm always for that.

Yanks win. They are back and will get to 95+ wins. We have to be better to win the division

After the way the division winners who didn’t play in the WC round fared last year in the playoffs, I’m not dead set on it. But I do still want the division, obviously. I would never want the Yankees to finish ahead of us. But if we are a WC team, I’m not going to be heartbroken over it. Momentum being stalled is a real thing. As is timing being thrown off, etc.

Don't talk yourself into not wanting the division. Much better chance of getting to ALCS as a team with a bye than without. I'll hear from those saying you'd rather be the WC winner with your rotation out of whack than the team sitting cold for half a week with everything lined up, but that argument makes an assumption than just isn't reasonable. Every series is risky, so skip the WC round.

Anyone who says they'd rather play in the WC round vs having to figure out how to stay ready during a few days off needs to have their head examined.

I'm still salty over Chace. I'm sure Bob is, too.

Yeah him being thrown in there stung. Reminded me of Showalter being the third piece in the Flaherty trade last year.

My post wasn't directed at you. I read what you said. I was recalling how so many (not on here) were saying what a disadvantage it was to have the bye last year because 3 of 4 teams that had it got knocked out in the DS, two of them swept.

Then I stand corrected. That's just silly.
