What have I told you and I absolutely have meant it. Its never been hyperbole or me being a panic monkey. I truly believe they are pretty soft. Talented but soft. The right manager could help harden them but thats not Hyde
That commentary from Ben was interesting. Could most be broadcast filler, but made me wonder if there is a leadership crisis in the clubhouse right now.

I was taught in that situation that it's the LFers job to call who should take it.
I don't think the infielders could hear the left fielder in a major league ball park.

How about we see happens when the playoffs startWhatever it is, they aren't built for a championship. Not this year. Can you imagine them gritting out battle after battle against the big boys in do or die situations?
A lot of times a team peaks at the right time.
Plenty of time to right the ship.

They're talented enough to make a run.
Absolutely, Slide doing his Chicken Little thing.

I mean we'll see, but they are playing truly terrible baseball. Not mediocre. Terrible. Bonehead errors? Blown saves? Swinging at balls and taking strikes? They don't even look like a playoff team right now.
Anything can happen and I'm not writing them off entirely, but this is really bad.

Yes, if the LF can make an easy play on the ball, then when he calls for, the IF should get out of the way. But Ben was spot-on when he said that the SS is the de-facto captain of the IF. If he's calling for it, the 3B needs to clear out of the way.
