Not commitment related, but related to the post in the Terps Football section…..as part of the House v. NCAA settlement there will be changes in roster and scholarship limits for many athletics programs beginning with the 2025-26 season. For MBB, roster limits are still set at 15, but you’ll be able to have all 15 of those players on scholarship. So the days of Terps fans chanting in the waning moments of a blowout for the walk-ons to see the court may be over after this coming season.

3-star F Marcus Jackson (Chandler, AZ) has committed to Maryland. He’s a Baltimore native currently playing at Compass Prep in Arizona. Had offers from Auburn, Georgetown, Illinois, and Iowa, among others.

 

Most analysts believe he'll continue to rise in the recruiting rankings, and likely finish as a 4-star prospect.
