All Gunnar needed to do was hit a ground or fly ball. No stand and watch strike 3.

For a slop pitcher, Povich has horrible control. He's pitching in a time where hitters are just begging for you to strike them out and he's walking 5 in 5 innings. Not going to play in the major leagues.

3 ER through 5.1 isn't TERRIBLE, but tough to survive with a WHIP around 2 unless you're facing an offense similar to the Orioles with runners on base.

They score two without the error, IMO. Single, double, clean single that easily scores runner from second. That's two runs without the extra bases on the first single.And to be fair, one of those ERs is BS due to the Santander blunder.
I'll hear an argument that Povich pitched differently to the second guy, hunting a K or popout, with no outs and runner on third and that could've impacted the sequencing
