It is great he seems to be able to limit the damage. But can't be throwing 31 pitches and get far in baseball.

Our pitching is in major trouble.
Don't think it's hyperbole either. We have Burnes. Then GRod who is a crapshoot. Then two #5s. Then Suarez. The good news is on any given night they can toss a good game.

He definitely would've had that. O'Hearn should've had it too but he whiffed on it.
ETA - the xBA on that grounder down the 1b line (79.2 mph evo) was .060.

At least McCann is up in a meaningless spot. Rather him make the last out with no one on than lead off an inning.
