Bradish needs to bring his A+ game tonight. Ranger is way tough. Maybe he hasn't face a killer lineup like the O's yet!!

You nailed it, actually!  Here are the team rankings in total runs (I didn't calculate runs/game) for each of Suarez's 13 opponents.

14th

27th

20th

15th

14th

29th

16th

9th

13th

20th

22nd

23rd

19th

The O's have the 3rd most runs.

Unfortunately you could say close to the same for Bradish, all his opponents have been in the lower quarter of the league aside from his first start against the Yankees who are the top run-scorer so far.

You can only beat the team you are playing. Still the schedule played clearly reflects the overall quality of the opponents the O's and Phillies have played thus far. Not even close.

The Phillies are dealing with some injuries (Turner, Marsh, Realmuto), so that's helpful. The first two guys might return at some point this weekend.

Regardless of who the Phillies have played, the Orioles have to bring their A game and try to win the series. A victory tonight would be a good start.

The Phillies losing JT Realmuto is big.

I like that things aligned, and #1,2,3 of the O's rotation are pitching this series.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

This is where Norby or Mayo would be good.

Yes but that leaves 4, 5, 6 for NYY

I like Gunner in the #4 position of the line up. I actually would prefer he be in the 3 hole. Westburg has a good OBP and should do well as a table setter. This is a great way to turn Gunner's leadoff homers, into 2 run shots.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

I suppose it would be better to have the top 3 go against the division rival.

Off day Monday, so could have Bradish and Rodriguez pitch in NY on regular rest next Wed & Thur.  That's what I'd do.

Bradish starting off rough. Gave up a no-doubt leadoff HR to Schwarber and a deep flyout to LF in the next AB.

Suarez stuff doesn't look good enough to be 10-1 with a sub 2 ERA.
