Except for the fact that the little success he has had, has been pinch hitting.  His AB was bad, but that doesn't mean the move was bad.  

That game just had the feel ,that everything had slowed down offensively.  It felt like that situation was our shot.  

 

Set aside the fact you're taking Mullins out of the game (best defensive CF on the team) in a close & late situation. I'm saying Hays didn't look right during his ABs and in the field. So, yeah, if there's something wrong with Hays, then yes, the move might've been a bad one regardless of outcome.

We were talking about it as the game unfolded.  I could see Mounty moving around in the dugout as Westburg was hitting.  I made the comment then, that I would have let Stowers hit, then use Mounty to hit for Ced.  Stowers looks like he is dialed in right now.  All that said, I think it was reasonable to take a shot.  That is the beauty of baseball.  There are so many thinking points in every game.

We were there last night and the arrogance of the Boston fans knows no limits. I really hope they finish last AGAIN this year.

The Boston fan as a species is truly the lowest form of human life. This is a fact is not subject to debate. I hope they lose every game from now until the sun swallows the earth whole. And I hope Boston goes first.
