I wonder if StL will entertain offers for Gray?
Good news! I saw a dog today.

He's a good pitcher but I'm not giving them any prime prospects for someone 34 years old.

Gray has a full no trade and costs 2/65M after this year. Such deals are probably at least possible now, but I don't think we're going to start throwing around many 30M+/year deals either.

I don't see a need at SP right now.
While I did kind of have the O's in mind, I should have clarified that I was wondering if, in general, they'll listen to offers.
To jamesDean's point, I wouldn't offer much more than the chance for the Cards to get off the hook for the next 2 years. StL isn't likely to contend next year, without really loading up on FA talent. So they might like the idea of reducing their payroll or redirecting it. Burnes is all but certainly gone after this season, Gray would be a nice stabilizer to that loss. But I'm not trying to hard sell here, just pondering.
Or maybe our wildest dreams come true, and Burnes realizes he loves pitching for the O's, and this is a great new home for him and his family.
Good news! I saw a dog today.

Yeah, if Burnes, Rodriguez, Bradish, Means, and Kremer stay relatively healthy we're in great shape. Even have some backup reinforcement options with Irvin and Saurez, though I'd like to keep Saurez in the pen. You've also got Povich who appears close to ready and McDermott who may not be super far behind.
Povich is ML ready too.

How is Laz Diaz still employed as an MLB umpire?

I think it's a combination of tenure and a general lack of accountability from the league.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
