Wow. That's dirt cheap, can't believe he signed it.

Wait...$15M total or per year?

The Ravens have drafted six wide receivers in the first round in their history.

Rashod Bateman is the first to get a second contract with Baltimore.

Neither 3/15 nor 3/45 make any sense to me. He would have gotten 2/16.6 with the 5th year option, no way the team just adds on 1/28.4 for nothing, but they could have just told him flat out we aren't picking it up. And maybe it's loaded with incentives that aren't in that 15 figure, I don't know.

My source is not great, so the dollar amount could be wrong. No way Bateman would 15 mill per year, so I don't think that's it.

Let's consider Agholor's deal. He got 1/3.75. He's older than Bateman but more accomplished and a less checkered injury history. Then, you add in Bateman's potential and talent and 5 mill AAV doesn't seem that far off.

Definitely no dollar amounts confirmed by any of the big outlets yet, so my bad for jumping the gun there. I'm sure we'll see the value soon enough.

$5M AAV seems way off to me. Maybe fair for what he's done, but there is no reason for him to sign so cheaply rather than just go to free agency after this season. I have a real hard time believing he signed such a deal.

If there are tons of reachable incentives, that'd make a lot more sense.

Had the Ravens already declined his '25 option? Not sure when that decision had to be made. And if not when does the decision have to be made and what did they decide on Oweh
