There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Slow news day in college hoops.
I think they give Hubert one more year, given that in the two years he made the tournament, one was a Final Four appearance, and last year we were a #1 seed. Also, there's a top 10 recruit coming who said his main reason for coming to Carolina was Hubert Davis. We'll see though, i wouldn't be shocked either way, but man, this season has been beyond disappointing.

It's not a talent issue right? What has gone wrong?
No disrespect to Clemson, they're legit, have been a few years now - but Carolina shouldn't be losing all ho-hum by 20 points to Clemson in basketball.

Talent is fine, two 5 star freshmen getting minutes, RJ Davis was a preseason All American, but roster construction was poor. He didn't really get a big man to replace Bacot, and their 7 foot sophomore got kicked out of school in October, and our tallest guy is 6'9. Tough to matchup with teams like Duke & Clemson, who happen to be the two best teams in the league.
There are some effort issues too, at least it seems that way in a lot of games. That's troubling for sure. Last night it really looked like they quit.

In fairness to Hubert, it does seem like greater volatility year-to-year is a bigger possibility with the average length of stay shortening every year now.

Cooper Flagg said on a podcast or something that he kinda wants to go back to Duke for another season.
I know this is still some level of unlikely, but I wouldn't be shocked. Only because it's Duke. And they will get every lucky break from now until the end of days...
He's either drunk on the moment or he's bating the boosters into dropping more $ into next year's NIL pool.
Or, maybe there's NIL money to match the $11.5m he'd be turning down as the #1 pick in this summer's draft.
