Hey, maybe I'll wind up being wrong. Maybe they'll run the offense through Henry in the playoffs, take the ball out of Lamar's hands, and that's exactly what they need to win it all. They've certainly shown that keeping it in his hands is not the way to do it.

At the very least, we still have a bruiser that can wear down defenses.  I'm fine with the signing.

I guess Todd gave John the OK, I can use Henry better then Gus. I like Gus a lot, I expect him to do well in LA. Let's see if Henry is still a beast with great open field speed.

I’m pretty sure I read on Twitter today that Henry’s top speed was faster than Mitchell’s last year.

What are we gonna do about the line Henry will be running behind.  Linderbaum is a stud.  Moses is good but old and some health questions.  Stanley is a giant question mark, but if they were gonna cut him I think it'd be done by now unless they're gonna ply "paycut or cut" hardball in June.  Are we gonna promote two unproven guards?  Mekari is a good 6th man with versatility but he's got his own health concerns.

I think Lamar distorts the trench game by himself enough that we can figure it out.  His ability to throw by itself would be enough to prevent teams from stacking the box, but even when they do stack the box, defenses have to account for Lamar so they can't just key in on Henry.  We had bad guard play on both sides of the ball and inconsistent LT play, and we still managed to run the ball pretty well with a high success rate.

I figured if Henry didn't work out than they would draft a runner, which they still may do.

Henry doesn't need to be the player of two seasons ago. He needs to be a threat and stay in that 4 plus yards per carry. Mix in Hill and Mitchell whenever he returns and the run game is settled.
