This year's RB class apparently isn't that good, which is one of the reasons why suddenly every FA running back is getting a big deal.

I'd disagree with that. The class lacks star power, and it doesn't have a top guy, but it has a lot of depth. I could see any one, or combo of Corum, Brooks, Estime and Benson developing into top 5 RB's. You also have some guys like Irving, Allen, Shipley, Dillon Johnson and Llyod who could all serve as important complimentary RB's.

I'd love to grab Benson, Brooks or Corum.

I'd prefer to see the Ravens draft an RB or two, or get a couple of UDFAs rather than sign Henry.  I think the money would be better spent in other areas.

Joe Mixon might be a better fit because he is very productive in the passing game.  But he is also a high risk for off the field problems so I could see staying away from him.

If you can get a maybe not superstar, but decent RB in the draft who can give you production for a few years on a rookie contract I think it's better than paying a lot of money to a guy with a lot of mileage on him.

Still hoping for Isaac Guerendo.  His upside potential is huge.

IMO they need a strong vet.

Maybe. He's older for a rookie. His 40 was great. But I think that's all he has. His 10 yard split was average. His 3 cone wasn't that great. And when you watch him, he's doesn't look like he has much suddenness, or lateral agility or acceleration. If he gets going, he's fast and he's a load to bring down. But he ranked outside of the top 100 in NCAA RB's in elusive rating on PFF, and he only forced 31 missed tackles.

I can see him being decent in a Gus Edwards type role. But I don't see him being "the guy".

One of the few FA deals that I think is a tremendous waste of money. Henry was winding down last year as it was.

Keaton Mitchell and Henry on same team? Sign me up for that.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Nice combination assuming Mitchell can get back healthy at some point.

I would think a RB in the draft is still very much in play. Dont really know what we will get from Mitchell this year. Or really any year going forward.

An article I was reading linked Henry to Dallas, but it said they only have $8.8 million cap room and Henry's market value is a 1 year $10.3 mil contract.  If that's what he wants from the Ravens I'm a hard pass.

lol.  I guess that's why you shouldn't try to work and keep up with the latest in sports at the same time.

I'd be surprised to see Mitchell on the field this year.

He had a great combine so we'll see where he falls in the draft.  Someone is going to take him, that's for sure.

He ran a good 40 and had a good vertical. His 10 yard split, 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle were ok. 4.33 is moving. But his 10 yard split was middle of the pack. Think he's all long speed. And for his size and speed, he doesn't break a lot of tackles.

Being average out of the blocks, and having little lateral agility, paired with the inability to break tackles in the ACC aren't exactly traits that pop as "huge potential".
