Terps have been playing better lately.   Not sure I'd put them in the top tier of favorites at the moment (that top 3 is ND, UVA and maybe Duke).  They are definitely in the mix though in that next group of teams.   Be sure to watch live or like me fireup the DVR.  Hopkins-Maryland on Saturday at Homewood field.  This should be a very entertaining game as most are between these two!

Need another local team to root for, consider Towson.  They are 9-3 on the year and have been playing welll.

I would be remiss if I also didn't mention the Sea Gulls who are 14-0  on the year as they should be in the mix again in May to potentially pick up their 14th Championship!

Well so much for that.   Should have known better. Previous game UVA-Syracuse ran long.   A quick note, that game was a barn burner 18-17 Syracuse.  Also found out that Paul Gait fell off a ladder in the Gait warehouse 2 years ago and is now paralyzed, that sux.  Because that game ran long, the Terps game didn't come on my DVR until the 2nd quarter.  Should have recognized that sign and not watched.  Defensive grind with the Jays coming out on top 7-5 in front of 10,000+ at Sunny Homewood Field.   Both defenses came to play and gave away little and less.  I've never seen the Terps offense look so sloppy and ineffective.    Good chance these 2 will play again in the Big 10 championship and perhaps again in the NCAA, committee has to put them both in the Towson region, right?
