I wouldn't put money on this right now. This does not feel like a franchise heading upwards. It's hard to see a repeat of what they did this year. The stars were aligned and they blew it.

Yep.

I think there is a higher probability they miss the playoffs than they make the Superbowl.

This isnt some bold statement. It applies to every team in the league IMO. You could argue SF or KC is more likely to make it back to the SB and I'll accept the argument but I still dont think it's true. It only takes a rash of injuries or a an injury to Mahomes or Purdy for 5 or 6 weeks to tank a playoff run.

I agree. Which is why it's ridiculous for this article think with any confidence the Ravens will be in the Superbowl next year with what will almost certainly be a worse team.

Considering they were one of the best reg season teams ever yeah they are going to be worse next year. But thats all anyone wanted to say about KC this year. Oh and Buf too. IMO the 2 best team in the playoffs though

You never know. It's kinda dumb to talk about it IMO. Especially now.

It's like when the 2024 mock drafts come out the day after the 2023 draft ends.

Yeah, people have decided they need to create content 365 days a year, so you'll get lots of pointless articles. I'll pay attention to NFL again when free agency starts.

There's so many variables from year to year....schedule, which teams are playing better than expected or worse, how draft picks are performing, luck, weather, etc...but I think the No.1 factor in whether this team advances to the playoffs again and has a shot at a Super Bowl is health.  Lamar has to be injury free and play all the games again.  If he doesn't, all bets are off.  And we don't even know who's going to be the back-up at this point and the importance of it.  As others have mentioned, it's ridiculous to even be talking about this, especially before the draft.

Mock drafts and NFL power rankings are two of the most pointless things that mankind has ever invented. :) Fortunately my irritation at those should help put my irritation with broadcast shots of Swifty on the backburner for a while!!!

Since the draft is a couple months away, NFL coverage with switch back to Cowboys and Aaron Rodgers after a couple days of SB talk.

Ravens are usually pretty quiet in FA anyway. At least the early days of FA. Ill pass til draft night. Cant lie. Draft night is cool.

I'll pass until the divisional round. Nothing matters until then.

Except, of course, all the games you need to win to get into the playoffs, and then advance to the divisional round.

Does this include passing on posting about them too?

If they can't get there, I didn't miss anything important.

I guess. They've already shown they can be a great regular season team. Who cares how well they play when the stakes don't matter?
