Not that they've been good, but I think we'd feel a lot better about the defense as a whole if they could catch. Not sure about now, but a week or two ago they were by far worst in the league in dropped INTs, and obviously the Browns game should have been a W. TOs are about the best thing that a defense can do...

Anyway, I think Wiggins will be fine, and has a chance to be really good.

I think Wiggins will be very good at some point but I am concerned about his ability to stay on the field.  The dude is so skinny and the bigger receivers will always out muscle him.  Hopefully, he can put on some weight and muscle over the next few years without compromising any of his speed.

I wish they would play man to man a lot more too.  This zone coverage has been an epic fail and teams are just feasting on it.  At least they've moved Hamilton closer to the line of scrimmage and you can see the difference.  What I don't understand is with basically the same personnel from last year, why did they try to recreate the wheel?  Orr can certainly appreciate the level of excellence that MacDonald built and how he adjusted to what offenses were doing during the course of a game.  Just do what he was doing. How hard can that be?  I get it that you want to leave your own personal stamp on how the defense is run but clearly, it's not working.  Swallow some pride and admit it was wrong.

Ngakoue out, Keaton in.  Not the move I expected for Keaton.

Think it means they think they can find what Yannick has been doing on the street.  He hasn't played well at all, IMO.  Not sure we have anyone better, but think we have or can find guys that aren't worse.  I think they made a big mistake not adding pass rush, but cutting Ngakoue doesn't upset me.  I also expect that he'll clear and be added to the PS.  Not like he had a job before we picked him up the first time.

What do practice squad players make a year?

$16,800 a week is minimum for guys with 2+ years experience. $21,300 is the max. That's roughly half of the minimum salary for an active player. It counts against the cap.

So for whatever it's worth, got an "inside" story the other day that the Williams benching was basically a byproduct of him calling out Orr in a meeting and saying he didn't know what he was doing. Orr wanted him released, but cap hit is a real thing, so that didn't happen. The healthy benching occurred instead. They're trying to say all the right things and move on. I trust the source enough to think the story is probably true, if not to the letter at least the gist of it.

Roquan and Kyle skipping out on media postgame. Williams apparently calling out his DC on a stage so to speak. Harbs brings in his good buddy Dean Pees to "consult". This is not a healthy situation to me.

Can see this being true. I mean look none of us here know football at the level of these guys in the NFL but I think we can all sense that Orr is pretty flawed.

The one shot they showed of Pees in the booth upstairs it looked like he was being pretty hands on in game. As an advisor I dont know how common that is to be that hands your unit is on the field.

Lamar's kneel down on the final play left the Ravens with 99 yards rushing and ended their streak of 42 straight games with 100 yards rushing. That's 1 game shy of the NFL record.

Chase's 431 yards against the Ravens is the most ever from one player against one team in a season.

Ok, thanks for the information.  Not a bad way to make good money.

Jamal had 500 rushing yards against the Browns in 2003, and 521 total if you add in receiving yardage.

That stinks. Of all the rules tweaks the NFL makes year after year... why they haven't found a way to remove kneel downs from a QB / team's yardage totals is goofy. Call them something new... or just don't count it at all.

Interesting. Maybe Chase is the most by a receiver. NFL.com posted the stat.

Just got finished watching the recording of the game.  Burrow put up some staggering numbers but man, that dude took a beating last night.  He has to be sore as hell today.

Yeah its gotta be the best performance by the D-line in generating consistent pressure.  Madubuike was the guy we paid him to be, better even and Oweh was really good as well.  Think part of it certainly was Cincy missing Brown, but encouraging sign from the first level of the defense.  Of course that means that the secondary played even worse than it appears at first glance.  Big problems on the back end.

PFF said the Ravens had 40 pressures, tied for most in any game this year.
