It was good to see Lamar back out on the field yesterday and I'm glad this didn't happen during the season. Visions of Josh Johnson playing quarterback is enough to keep the most indifferent fan up at night.

I dunno about that...

The Ravens ended Week 1 of training camp (they’re off today) with some good news: Lamar Jackson is back and feeling better. His return yesterday lifted the energy of the offense and yielded some strong performances from his pass catchers.

Michael Pierce on Lamar Jackson being back: “Any time you can bring your two-time MVP back, it gets a little hectic (on the defense).”

Lamar Jackson returned and predictably the offense had its best practice. Lot of catches for Likely and Andrews. Bateman was involved. Devontez Walker and Qadir Ismail made a few plays

Wouldn't be nice to see this on opening night in KC?

Better do it on his first touch. If he happens to get stuffed for 1 yard, Harbs and company will immediately remove him from the game plan.

Big run is great obviously... but really want to see him hammer teams, make them tired of tackling him.
And then games where you get ahead, you run him to death between the tackles until teams tap out completely.

And if he fumbles, God help him.

"That's been the first checkbox for me since 2018," Jackson, who missed four practices last week, said Monday. "I said that, April 26, whenever I was drafted. I said that and I meant that. This the highest level of this game we play. You gotta go out a champion, and that's what I want to be labeled as a champion, not just MVP here and there. I want to be a champion."

Huh.

Have you tried playing well in the playoffs, Lamar? That might help. Try that.

NFL Notifications

Interceptions Thrown: Training Camp
Caleb Williams - 2
Josh Allen - 6
Lamar Jackson - 7
Justin Fields - 3
Deshaun Watson - 2
Brock Purdy - 5
Bo Nix - 4

OMG, and this is despite him missing a bunch of practices. Lamar better start performing in training camp if he wants to be a champion and not just a multi-MVP winner.

Things that happen to the starters in training camp is beyond meaningless. Oweh would be an All-Pro if you used his camp tape. Just get through it healthy.

@NFLNotify, apparently.

And for anyone unsure, my reaction was very much a tongue-in-cheek response to the post above it.

Unless you think playoff performance is comparable to preseason performance, I'm not sure how anything you posted is relevant to what I said.

Jim Harbaugh brought that technology with him to the NFL.

I think that's unfair criticism.  Now if the Ravens are losing by a field goal after KC's first possession...

I'm going to call it now that the Ravens, hearing all this criticism, will now force the ball to Henry 30 times in the game no matter how ineffective he is, and still lose.

He really should be banned from posting in the Ravens forum.

Just toxic.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
