I'm not going to get too excited squeaking out a victory against the worst team in the Big Ten.
That was a battle of bottom feeders.
I look at it a little different, I think if we are going to be so agitated when they get beat by a team like Purdue, we should be happy when they win any conference game.
Last nights first half was horrendous. The second half was terrific. Scott got red hot, and it seemed like the rest of the teams energy went with him.

I think DHS played well except not being ready to pull the trigger on the late shot clock violation. Geronimo refused to shoot it, and DHS was not set to shoot it. I thought Kaiser really busted his ass defensively the second half.
Scott won the game. Hopefully he is aggressive the rest of the way.
Terrific second half from Reese. He too needs to be consistently aggressive.

They beat a shorthanded Michigan team at home after a horrendous first half shooting performance.
The team is shooting at a historically bad percentage, and you can only think that it's contagious at this point. Mental as much as physical. Scott's breakout has been needed for weeks. The energy and leadership have been lacking and he woke up in a big way.
The defensive effort has been very good and it's what kept them close enough and what allowed them to escape with a win after such a horrid start.
