That Payton Wilson dude sounds like he's going to be a problem if he can stay on the field for Pittsburgh.

His arms are relatively short, measured something like 33" at the combine. Part of why I'd think he'll be a G. His pass protection isn't great despite the fact he spent 2 seasons as the protector of Penix's blind side (Penix is LH). Michigan ate him alive in the title game.

Hard to use easily his worst game against arguably the best defense he faced his whole college career. He also gave up exactly 0 sacks as a starter in 2 seasons, and held a 80 PFF pass blocking grade over two seasons. I'd say you chose possibly his best trait to try and knock.

I'm with you on his stature and overall strength. Definitely needs to hit the weight room and gain play strength. But he seems to have top level short area athleticism for his position. Seems to be a great pass blocker, but a weak power run blocker.
