I totally understand 2035’s frustration there and honestly partly agree with him, and in the past would fully agree with him. I guess I’m at the point in life where I can understand a guy taking advantage of what is a rare opportunity to start an All-Star game. It’s a unique experience, and not one you should realistically ever expect again, even if you are a stud like him. Perhaps he wants the badass flex of Opening Day starter, AL All-Star game starter and WS MVP all in the same year. This is leg 2 of that trifecta.
