Wish it was archived and freely accessible... But I remember Preston in one of his typo-riddled blog posts hinting that Suggs was looking like a bust during his first camp. Mike and his keen eye for talent...

He also called Ed Reed, average Ed in his column right after Ed was drafted.  I honestly wonder how much Preston actually watches or pays attention too.  He is IMO, lazy and always seems to have an agenda.

Suggs seemed really humble and maybe a little embarrassed with the attention yesterday.  He did do a nice job on the speech.

I could not help but realize how lucky we have been as Raven fans, when I watched as the ROH guys were introduced before Suggs was inducted.  Damn, we have had some great players.

Oh he always had a big agenda. Moreso during the Billick era because he personally disliked Billick.

I guess I'm one of the very few that enjoy reading Preston's columns in the Sun.  He's not the most skilled writer for sure but I've always appreciated that he never cared what anyone thought about his opinions.  I don't know if the players ever took him seriously but it's refreshing that he doesn't shy away from being critical, especially when it concerns Harbaugh, who the other writers generally kiss up to or are afraid of.  I don't agree with everything he writes but you can't have all homers and yes men.
