Might be time for a total reset from GM down. Maybe give EDC a little more leash, but how many years can Harbaugh ride out the injury excuse?

I can't take comments like this serious. It's one bad game. And if your best players are injured, and it's affecting the quality of the on-field product, how is that not a legitimate excuse?

Unless you believe they aren't clearly better with Marcus Williams, Humphrey, Oweh, Ojabo, Stanley, Linderbaum, OBJ, Dobbins and Hill.

Whether you like it or not, injuries are a legitimate reason for a dip in the quality of play of the team.

We're 2-1, it's week 3. Let's calm down and step back. If we're garbage after week 10, by all means, go to town on the organization.

How many seasons do you get wrecked to injury before you take a step back and ask what's wrong here? Sure, all teams suffer injuries. I'd say Baltimore is significantly higher than the average, especially when it comes to impact players. Three years running isn't just a fluke.

At least we didn't get beat 70-20.

How do you blame a coach for injuries? Is it Harbaughs fault Linderbaum and Stanley had players roll up on them? Is it Harbaughs fault Williams pec ripped off the bone on a tackle attempt? That Dobbins stepped awkwardly and his achillies snapped?

Or lose to the Cardinals in dominating fashion.

Cardinals aren't getting Caleb Williams that way.

Bears may be replacing Justin Frauds instead

We’ve all seen this movie. The Ravens take stupid pills at key moments and it costs them.

They are going to do it minimum 3 or 4 more times this year.

I’m apathetic toward this team as long as Harbaugh is leading the ship. Until they give me reason to believe things have changed, I’m just going to assume they underachieve in a few games, and end up going home much eariler than we’d like at seasons end.

It’s not a coordinator thing, or a weight room thing, or injury thing. They just do dumb things at key times sometimes.

They are as inconsistent as they come. They have a chance to beat any team anywhere but can pretty much also lose to any team anywhere. One week  they will make you believe they are a legit SB contender and the next they will look like a 6 win team. They used to handle business at home against the bad -mediocre teams. No more. Its a coin flip on any given week. Good luck if you decide you are ever going to bet them

Maybe this will serve as a wake-up call. It sure as hell isn't going to get any easier next week in Cleveland, which is an early battle for first place in the division. Today was a stark reminder that any team is good enough to beat you (OK, maybe not Denver or Chicago), and when you have a chance to put them away, you have to take advantage of it. The Ravens got beat because they never put the Colts in a position where they couldn't just settle for the points that were available to them. Thus the five field goals.

Did anyone else get flashbacks to that 2007 divisional game against the Colts?

It won’t be a wake up call. They might very well win the next two games against division rivals and then lose by 20 in London because “they weren’t prepared” or something.

They blew the game not taking advantage of the long punt return. I thought for sure after the 1st down run Jackson would keep the ball the next 2 plays on sweeps. Then Likely dropping the 1st down catch. They needed one 1st down and couldn't do it.

The fair catch on the free kick must have been called on the sideline to avoid a fumble because Flowers could have gained at least 10 yrds and run time off the clock. I saw the flag come out on the obvious face mask penalty then the call was block in the back. Would the same ref have thrown that flag.? Maybe he was so wrapped up in one call he missed the other. It would have been offsetting.

The refs also on one Jackson run didn't start the clock after he came down in bounds. It was late in the game.

I knew Minshew would give us a tough time.

That said, the offensive collapse late in the game was frustrating and so familiar.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Yes!!! I was at the stadium and couldn't grasp why the game clock didn't restart after they announced the defensive penalty. A quick glance of the interwebs say it should start again on the ref's ready signal, unless the offense chooses to have it start on the snap.

If all that is true and I'm grasping the rules correctly... either the refs screwed up and the Ravens coaching staff didn't question it at all... or the Ravens CHOSE to have it start on the snap. Despite having the ball, and the lead, late in the game...

If someone has a better explanation, feel free to set me straight.

On the drive that could have sealed the win, why did they do three lame running plays?

I didn't know why late in the game Jackson didn't run a few plays. He does want to make plays on his own late.

I sat out in the drizzle the entire game and it was one of the most disappointing games I can remember.  Luckily we also were watching the Orioles on my sons phone most of the game, so that saved the day some.

I am not one who fires coaches, GM's players etc. after a bad game though.  Yesterday was one of bad plays, bad reffing and bad coaching decision.  I am moving on, but yesterday stunk.
