We've just tied the 1974 Orioles for wins. That team would go on to win the AL East.

Really good job by the bullpen tonight to shut things down from the fifth inning on.

Actually brought a tear to my eyes
The bird was on the dugout, leading the cheers then a group down the left field line answered it after he was done. Only 16K there last night but it was enthusiastic.

It was a good night last night. The weather was perfect, the crowd was not big but loud, and Cedric, Gunnar, Hicks and the late arriving Austin Hays put on a show.
We were in section 46 and there were a decent number of Cardinal fans there, and they all stayed to the end. Really good fans, not arrogant like some of the jackasses that show up rooting for the last place New York Yankee, the next to last place Boston Red Sox and the Jays.
