They're about to be back in it if TEX holds on to beat SEA. 

 

Seattle plays Houston for a big three game series starting tomorrow. 

Texas also visits Seattle for three games next weekend to close the regular season.

 

If I'm reading this right, Seattle holds the tiebreak over Houston, but Houston won the season series against Texas. The Rangers, on the other hand, have already won the season series with the Mariners. Also, Tampa and Houston split their season series, but Houston holds the tiebreaker by virtue of division record. Toronto holds the tiebreaker over Houston, but could not win in such a scenario over Seattle due to their 19-27 intradivision record.

 

The Orioles have already clinched a better record than anyone in the AL West, thus making any tiebreaker irrelevant.
