New series on Hulu that follows an FBI training class. The story jumps to the past (2009) and to the future (2035), as well as taking place in the present (2023-2025, so far). The plot is about how the FBI turns to AI to fight crime and the issues that eventually ensue. 6 episodes have dropped so far, definitely worth a watch.

Have enjoyed it. More for the interesting premise vs. the actual told story so far.

Agreed.
Also, as someone who is very intrigued by conspiracy type research, the series paints a frightening picture of a dystopian surveillance state where any action outside what's deemed to be "acceptable" by the algorithm is punishable. The idea of "pre-crime" or the proverbial thought police are discussed in dystopian novels like 1984 and Brave New World and in films like Demolition Man and Minority Report.
The intriguing/terrifying thing is, with our overreliance on technology and the omnipresent topic of free speech vs "misinformation", we're inching closer to this type of society, in real time.

From reading a description of the show, it sounds like Minority Report meets the Big Chill.
