I am old, so I am biased, but everytime I read how much baseball is today, I want to throw up.    The majority of hitters have no idea how to stay in an at bat.

A hitter's approach today is the same whether the count is 3-0 or 0-2, whether the score is 1-0 or 10-0, whether there's no one on base or the bases are loaded.  Swing from your ass with a violent upper cut and hope you make contact.  If not, no biggie...go sit you butt down on the bench with a strikeout and wait for the next time you can do the same thing.  Welcome to 2023 baseball!
