A couple times. But all the borderline pitches are going for strikes because he's consistently peppering the same area with like a 2" variance. Umps are human. He's exploiting that with his exposition tonight.

Yeah hes been terrific. Another tip the hat game. We will have some here crying about our hitters, which has some merit, but you aint doing nothing with most of his pitches tonight anyway

Burnes is a stud. He got some close pitches his way but nothing egregious. Definitely a try to light some fire ejection.

Makes last night's loss sting a little more.

That is the reality of the situation, which makes Burnes' work that much more effective. He's bending the ump's perspective of the K zone. Baseball, baby!
