This might be my least favorite game of the year.

I said the same thing.  

This last few weeks have not been Elias's finest in regards to maximizing the roster.  

 

Maybe we can acquire another 4th string catcher, cut a reliever, then waive the catcher 3 days later.

Agreed, these stretches happen.  My concern as it has been all year is the pen.  The good news from yesterday is Baker seemed to have the velocity back.

The bad news besides losing an ugly game is we will now start the Giant series with a tired pen.  Nice job Elias.

Well, even lousy hitting teams will have short stretches where they're spraying hits all over the place.  Conversely, the Orioles pitchers weren't exactly executing their pitches either.  What's a shame is them scoring 8 runs and still losing.  As compromised as this offense can be at times, that's a tough pill to swallow.
