At least they did what was right and sent Grayson down today. This organization is gonna have to make the switch and try to pull off a big trade. It would be a shame if we throw away another playoff run without even trying again.
Feel bad for the kid. I really do. He needs to get his confidence back more than anything so hopefully, they'll work on his command and secondary pitches. Both were glaringly below average at the ML level. Like I said in a post yesterday, they have to trade for an established, quality starter in his prime if they intend to shoot for the big show. If not via trade, then free agency before next season. The rebuild has been excellent but you still need to compliment home grown talent with established players from other teams.
