I wonder if its a trust thing right now or if Baker is dealing with an issue. With Felix out last nights 8th usually wouldve been his spot. Hes only thrown 1.2 inning over the last week.
Would suspect it's usage. He's already made 24 appearances. Figure they want to slow that down and get him some rest.

I mentioned yesterday that I thought they were trying to stay off Baker, to freshen him up. I think Baker is a maximum effort guy, meaning for him to be good, he has to bring everything he has, each night. We have seen his velocity drop and that is a sign he is tired. I think he is one of the guys the Orioles trust.

The good news is Baumann is stepping up and settling into the role. I would have let him finish last night. He was overpowering the Yankees.

Miller was the man.
Angel and Brown very good and better than most.
Know Thorne had has fans... I wasn't one.
I am still thrilled Thorne is gone.
