Rodriguez doesn't have much tonight. They're just sitting on his fastballs. What happened to his change-up?

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Best player in baseball (and it's not particularly close). You just can't leave a meatball out there like that.

I think so. They have had good swings all night. But to be honest hes been getting hard a lot of late. Was more encouraged after his first 2 or 3 starts tbh. Has to figure out a better pitch mix. Teams will continue to sit all over fastball until the secondaries get better
Not watching but feels like he was left in too long here

He's got above average stuff but he needs to work on secondary pitches and be able to throw them for strikes early in the count. Right now, hitters are just sitting on his fastball, although Ohtani destroyed a hanging breaking pitch.

Anyone that takes time to adjust to the majors? Bust.
You were probably still slurping Wieters and his .700 OPS a few years ago

You know how it works by now. Cant let it bother you. I do think we could justifiably send him down and let him work on specific things. Yeah, we know he can blow AAA hitters away with 98 and avg to below avg secondaries. Thats not important to see. Refine the secondaries.

Loser pitcher didn’t give us a shot tonight
What's frustrating is he was gifted 4 runs already against a great pitcher and couldn't take advantage of it.
