What exactly does one get for their $5000?
I deleted the email, but I think it was $5065 per person, for Hotel,, I think a Hilton, Air fare, Game tickets and game day transportation and some River Boat cruise.
Air fare is expensive. We are going to Greece in July and the AF for that is about 1,500 per person so I am sure London is similar.

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem that difficult to narrow my focus on the things that interest me, and ignore what doesn't interest me. Yesterday I got an email from the Ravens showing me the schedule. I enjoyed reading it and imagining how things might play out (of which I'll probably be about 50% wrong). If the NFL wants to put on a big show about it, more power to them, but I don't need all that, so I don't pay attention. That simple.
I didn't mean to poo poo those who do care about the schedule because honestly, I do get it. There are definitely things to look at and examine there, as well as statistical trends involved with traveling and such, so I do understand there's something there.
That comment was just how I personally feel about it. There's already so much going on with football, this is just something I choose not to get to deep in.

YupFwiw hotels in London for those dates are pretty cheap on Hotwire — talking $80/night for a four star in Chelsea. A bit off the beaten path but worth it

The one I booked was price similarly in Chelsea
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Nope I bought my ticket a few days. $664 R/T. Greece is a little farther.

How was your flight cost? I am seeing about $650 or so round trip from Dulles.
I paid $664 on Delta
