Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't seem that difficult to narrow my focus on the things that interest me, and ignore what doesn't interest me. Yesterday I got an email from the Ravens showing me the schedule. I enjoyed reading it and imagining how things might play out (of which I'll probably be about 50% wrong). If the NFL wants to put on a big show about it, more power to them, but I don't need all that, so I don't pay attention. That simple.
I didn't mean to poo poo those who do care about the schedule because honestly, I do get it. There are definitely things to look at and examine there, as well as statistical trends involved with traveling and such, so I do understand there's something there.
That comment was just how I personally feel about it. There's already so much going on with football, this is just something I choose not to get to deep in.
