Primetime games are 5pm on the left coast so I like night games. 10am games are kind of a mess for me.

Then you must really love the games played in London that start at 6:30am!

Oh yeah, those are definitely my favorite.   :???:

My kid started waking me up at 7 so maybe I'll be conscious for them this year.

I hope they have as few primetime games as possible.

I'm with you. It takes me hours to decompress after a game so I can get to sleep. I suspect, though, that the league will see the Ravens as a pretty big prime time attraction, with Lamar and OBJ on board.

As far as the London game, I have a bad memory of getting blown out last time. I recall that the Jags had more experience over there, and went over at the beginning of the week. The Ravens went over a day or two before the game, and the jet lag was obvious. It looked like they were operating at a different frequency, and running through deep mud. I hope they remember that.

It was just Flacco. Ok not just him but he was especially bad.

That kind of goes along with the earlier posts about back-to-back west coast games and not wanting to stay in that time zone in between. As much as players and coaches are creatures of habit and want to be home as much as possible, you can't underestimate the toll that long plane rides and jet lag have on your body. Hopefully they learned a lesson last time they were over there.

Yeah, it was pretty much the whole team.  I was watching that game in OC and I remember saying I have never seen a Ravens team collectively look so bad.  They had like 50 yards total passing for the game.  The Jags QB was Blake Bortles and he threw 4 or 5 TDs.  The Ravens defense looked especially bad.  They had 0 sacks and gave up something like 400 yards to the Jags.  That was the game Suggs was kneeling and I remember saying it looks like the kneel took it out of him.  He looked like an out of shape vet about 4 years past retirement that day.

That one I totally get.

Last year, the misses and I went to Greece, which is 7 hours ahead of EST. I woke at 3:45 am to watch game vs Tampa. And I had to download a VPN because Amazon in Greece doesn't carry NFL games for whatever reason.

Primetime game predictions.

Ravens @ Bengals for a Sunday night
Ravens @ Cardinals for a Monday night. Kyler vs Lamar seems like a matchup they want in primetime.
Ravens vs. Dolphins for a Thursday night. Precedent there. And was a banger game last year they probably want to highlight.

Probably all they get with a couple other west coast games being 4pm games.

Schedule leaks are starting to come out.  First I saw involving the Ravens, other than the London game, is they will be at Arizona in week 8 on Sunday, October 29.

Two more leaks:   Week 5   Ravens @ Steelers

                             Week 18  Steelers @ Ravens

*That's if these "unnofficial" leaks are true!

Home Texans Week 1. Good quick W to start 1-0

That explains why Lamar hasn’t reported to the Castle yet.

They're at SF for Monday Night on Christmas. The LA trip is also primetime (SNF).

The home game vs Cincinnati is Thursday Night, Week 11.

Thursday games suck but they’re way better for the home team I think so home vs Bengals works.

Probably a good thing their bye is week 13. Beginning in November, it looks like a pretty relentless road to the finish line. The Rams are the weakest of that stretch, but Stafford being fully healthy would help them. That final four game stretch could be brutal. Most of the projected weak teams are definitely earlier in the season.

2 road games, then London doesn’t seem fair. They also figured out how to give the Titans a bye after their trip but not the Ravens.

10-7

I like being home for 7 of the last 10. Also strange but Im cool with having the 3 divisional road games as the first 3 divisional games we play. Save the last 3 as the home games.

The Ravens had the option and chose not to have a bye after the London game.
