Been thinking about this for a while now and watching the last few games really question if he's better served to just bat LH.

Just about every stat line he has is significantly better batting LH compared to RH. Maybe he should focus on just hitting LH like Mullins?

He has a better OPS batting RH this year? 859 to 811. He's in a bit of a slump but I don't know that that's due to handedness.

Last year he was bad as a RH. In 2022 he was bad as a RH. But in 2021 he was better as a RH.

I don't think there's enough here to say he should change at this point. Also I'm no expert, but I don't think it's the simplest thing. You are all of a sudden seeing pitches at an angle that you haven't seen in years and years. It's a risk that you won't be comfortable at all going lefty-lefty, especially switching at the MLB level mid season. Mullins successfully stopped, but I don't think it's all that common.

I don't recall anybody other than Mullins ever doing it. Sure it's happened, but it's very rare. Adley is not a candidate, IMO.

This article from Meoli from when Mullins was doing it lists a few. Yeah, not common.

I have to go all the way back to Alomar Jr to recall another time, but IIRC some sort of injury precipitated his decision.

Seems like 2022 was an anomoly for Adley...I though (in this discussion on TV the other night...no link) that he said he's always been better a RHed hitter.

He really hasn't done much the last 2-3 weeks (no HR, still taking walks and a few hits)...been either super hot or a little cold.
