Been thinking about this for a while now and watching the last few games really question if he's better served to just bat LH.
Just about every stat line he has is significantly better batting LH compared to RH. Maybe he should focus on just hitting LH like Mullins?
He has a better OPS batting RH this year? 859 to 811. He's in a bit of a slump but I don't know that that's due to handedness.
Last year he was bad as a RH. In 2022 he was bad as a RH. But in 2021 he was better as a RH.
I don't think there's enough here to say he should change at this point. Also I'm no expert, but I don't think it's the simplest thing. You are all of a sudden seeing pitches at an angle that you haven't seen in years and years. It's a risk that you won't be comfortable at all going lefty-lefty, especially switching at the MLB level mid season. Mullins successfully stopped, but I don't think it's all that common.
