Put me down for 78-84.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

86-76, I'd like to think a full year of Gunnar/Adley/etc can be worth 3 extra wins even with an underwhelming offseason

81-81.  I think a minor setback this year before a big step forward next year and beyond.

I'm going to stay in the middle at 80-82.

I can envision a much wider range of results.  This is easily the most talented team they've fielded since 2018, there aren't any specific holes, there's plenty of upside with most of the Talent and I'm honestly not that impressed with almost any of the other teams in the League....that said, 83 wins isn't the start point from last year (they didn't add "31 Wins" from 2021) and when things go right like that and you don't necessarily understand how you did it, you tend to assume that that always happens, but it doesn't.

I think the SP and hitting are both going to regress just a little.

82-80.

I really believe if things go right, we could be around 90.  I also think that the BP could be a mess and we could fall to about 74 games, so I will split the difference.

Full year of the young players and the likely BP regression doesn't move the needle.

I think the cheap acquisitions of Gibson, Irvin, and Frazier instead of 3 bigger impact players ends up feeling like a major missed opportunity.

Bullpen takes a step back. Rotation is about the same. Offense still around bottom third. Maybe they move up to 18 or something.

Looking through the predictions I could see any of them coming true.  As an Oriole fan, I am rooting for 2035's.

I'm going with 85 - 87 wins. I expect the composition of the BP to be flexible because GRod, Hall and Means will be up sooner and later, possibly pushing current SPs to the BP. That may alleviate some of the regression many of us fear.

New season. Good rosters can have poor seasons. Injuries can happen. Etc. The one thing to keep in mind was that from May through Sept and probably all the way to Oct they were legit one of the better teams in baseball. Like not a small run diff lucky type run but ouscoring opponents at a good clip.

Very good defense and a better than advertised pitching staff. I still think there offense is going to come up a bit short.

84 wins

The rotation has a decent chance to be better than last season, especially if GR has a smooth integration and Means returns to form by July. But I'm not sure the bullpen can repeat what it did in '22...and that group already has injury issues, something they avoided last year.

I tend to think the '22 version of Mountcastle and Mullins is closer to who they are than '21, but how they do will define the offense. A full season of Rutschmann, McCann (if healthy) once a week instead of Chirinos, and Henderson at 3B over Urias most days should mean a marginal upgrade over last season. But that probably still leaves them in the lower half of the league.

If they manage to hang around in the standings, I'm already wondering how they will approach the trade deadline. That might ultimately determine the end result.

86 wins. Pitching is a question, but I think our offense clicks with superior defense.

And lots of Oriole Magic!
