Are there any NBA prospects that stay in school more than 2 years? Seems like the exception these days.

Reasonably sure Buddy Hield is the last top 10 pick to have been in college for more than two seasons

They offered him, I assume landing Reese and Wahab in that class probably dissuaded him.

The real kicker is Turgeon choosing Galin Smith over Adama Sanogo the year before that.

I did not know about Sanogo.  Nice Turgeon.

I think Jay Wright said it least night in the pre-game show.  He said, Willard had gotten every ounce out of this Terps team.  I can live with that.  All in all a very enjoyable year.

If we didn't miss 9 layups it's at least a ballgame.

Also if we were more than 1 deep in the post it would help.

One thing that really stuck out about our 2019 squad is that we were 1 deep in the post that year, but Stix was pretty much never in foul trouble. He was uncannily good at managing fouls.

I think Reese next year will find a way to prevent the silly fouls.  That's the change he needs to make.  He already can defend without fouling.  Its just dumb chippy things like over-the-backs and illegal screens that take him from a normal big to a guy who's consistently in foul trouble.

Emilien made a much bigger contribution in conference play and postseason than I expected.  He ended up being a viable rotation big.  Two more guys like him would go a long way.  Maybe Swanton-Rodger can develop to that next season.  The incoming frosh won't be in the rotation next year, so portal bigs will be essential.

I'd be shocked if Swanton-Rodger ever becomes more than a emergency 5-10 minute a game kind of guy. I think it's very likely he's just an Ivan Bender type.

I know the announcers made a big deal about the layups, but almost everyone was contested.  End of the day Alabama was just better.

I told my son at halftime, that there was no way Maryland should win, but they were fighting their asses off trying.

I suspect Bama will make the final four and I could see them cutting the nets down.

Nice trip down memory lane.  Ivan Bender.  I am old so John Bilney comes to mind.

I think Rodger would need to live in the weight room, to be successful but stranger things have happened.

I could also see guys like him and Revaz transfer out.

I expect, Cornish to transfer.
