Last time was in 2016. They had a double-bye and beat Nebraska before losing to Michigan State in the semifinals.
When is the last time MD was in the semis of a conf tourny. I could easily be forgetting something but feels like they always flame out in conf tournaments

Yeah, almost always disappoint in the conference tourney. Other than Gilchrist, think only one other championship game appearance under Gary, and none since. That Gilchrist year was awesome though.
When is the last time MD was in the semis of a conf tourny. I could easily be forgetting something but feels like they always flame out in conf tournaments

He actually defends without fouling pretty well. He just gets so many offensive and loose ball ones.
Reese gets too many touch fouls.

Think that was a Saturday game. There was an earlier championship appearance against UNC I think?
