Due to fortuitous timing, I was able to be in the area enroute from Korea to Alabama for an Army career course. Watched with my old UMBC friends that have been acquainted and inseparable since @1974.
My lasting memory (pre-game) is the amazing amount of purple displayed along the roadways, homes and businesses. Hadn't ever seen anything like it except maybe all the yellow ribbons during Desert Storm.

Somehow I had never heard the story about Al Davis and Goose’s negotiation. That’s crazy. What a jerk. Thanks though, Al.

It was cool to see Jamal, only because I recall reading somewhere several years ago that he wasn't doing so well.

Must suck to root for a sports franchise that has horrible ownership.
Could there possibly be an owner who loves to litigate more than Al Davis? If so I'd hate to be a fan of that team.

I missed the special. Are they available to stream or download anywhere? I have ESPN+ as part of a bundle deal with Disney+ and Hulu. Not sure if that helps at all.
If you have ESPN+, it's available to stream on your streaming device. You just have to download the ESPN app, and sign into your account.
