I don't mind (might even like) the extension... the salary bump is interesting.  Still seems like they have salary constraints keeping assistants... that's some additional $ that could be used there.

A lot of times the assistant salary pool is referenced, if not explicitly spelled out in the head coach's contract. Hopefully he negotiated a bigger pool in there. I'm sure he at least tried. With that new TV deal kicking in this fall, the money ought to be there.

Sounds like a bit of a rough day regarding the OLine and some of the injuries so far. It is spring though. Hopefully they’ve learned what they wanted to learn from this and get better.

Interesting quote from Locksley indicating how fast college football changed, and particularly how money is allocated has changed. He seems to express regret that they just put $150M into a football facility right at the dawn of the NIL era.
