Whatever, long way to go and UCLA look like the national title contenders most thought they would be pre-season.

Have your team prepared
Did Willard piss on your shoes? Your running criticism of him is interesting.

Martinez is playing hard, and is shooting the ball better.

Cronin has showed class in the second half. He could have scored 120 this game.

Very embarrassing. You can’t let this happen to you.

Obviously pretty much the whole team sucked, but Young is 0-8 from the floor, 1 assist, 5 turnovers. And the only reason he didn't have more turnovers is because he's sat a lot in the 2nd half. Just a horrendous performance from a guy who's been decent most of the year.

None of that changes the fact that the offense is in shambles right now. Good timing for Saint Peter’s (283rd) and UMBC (236th). They’ve got time to get right before heading to Ann Arbor for a New Year’s date with Michigan (44th).

Mick Cronin mentioned a few times after the game that he thought Maryland's emotional tank was empty after their last two losses. Kevin Willard said multiple times this week that, while he definitely wants to continue scheduling tough non-conference opponents, the Big Ten's early conference slate will likely change how he schedules moving forward. Don't expect to see a four-game stretch like the one they just wrapped up anytime soon.
The week off can't come at a better time. The players obviously have final exams to contend with, but use the next two games as tune-ups heading into the new year.

I dont need an opposing coach giving excuses for a ranked team that just lost at home by 30. Losing by that much shows no heart.
Certainly agree with that, but I appreciate the way Cronin handled last night, and thought his post-game comments were very classy. A lesser man would have beat us by 60.

UCLA just beat Kentucky by 10 on a neutral floor if you find that comforting at all lol
