I'll take Henderson at 3B, Mateo at SS, and Urias at 2B.

Yeah if they make no moves at those spots that's pretty easily the best infield alignment

It shouldn't be that hard to figure out. There are only 2-3 options in house and they don't make acquisitions outside the organization.

The offense wasn't great last year, but I think they should be much better this year without doing much tinkering. A full year of Adley, Henderson, Stowers. Mountcastle should rebound to more 2021 levels. Mateo and Urias are solid. Santander is what he is. The only spot I think I'd really like to see them try and improve would be LF.

Westburg is the answer imo.

I think they should play one.  I know you can't move him around too much, but it would seem like a real disadvantage not to have one.

I don't know why they wouldn't just give Westburg the job (pending whatever you need to see in ST).

You want to keep the better kids on a full-season if they're ready.

Agreed. This is what I want to see. Especially since they aren’t even trying to win the division. Let the kid play and let’s see what we’ve got.

Tell Henderson from Day 1 in spring training that he's the starting 3B.

You forgot about players who have been DFA'd, and can be signed to a MiLB contract with a ST invite.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

Certainly have another perspective re-reading that article now.

So on one hand, they did say they'd ideally like a LH 2B.

On the other hand, there were higher priorities, they thought they'd be okay with what they have, and believe Jordan Westburg is very close.

Welp.

He’s (Westburg) had hundreds of AAA AB’s producing at a high level. They want that extra year of control. Always playing the long game. So a team that can’t spend spends $18M on absolute mediocrity.

Westburg may not be able to handle the middle inf very well in a shiftless world. We've heard that whispered before.

It's tough when your owner only gives you peanuts to work with. Thing is, you can still do some stuff with peanuts. Mike Elias, on the other hand, prefers a different approach.
