Yeah that sucks.
The criticism of the behavior from Tony Lombardi rings as sanctimony, though. Look inward first.

Yeah, his board, which at one time was the best place for Ravens coverage IMO, has devolved into basically 24/7 whining about Roman with far worse than that.

I'm sure La Canfora does the same thing whenever he sees DeCosta...

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

People like this are not real fans. This guy is an ass, and hopefully security got the clown away from the stadium. In addition to Roman, there seemed to be a lot of kids in the area. Totally classless..

Probably drunk too in addition to being a jerk. And you're right, it's a shame children have to be subjected to that kind of language but that's the world we live in today. I hear mothers and fathers throwing the F bomb around like it's nothing with their little kids next to them. Teachers wonder why little kids talk like that and where they learned it from? Look no farther than Mom and Dad.

There is a whole lot of truth here.

So a colleague brought this to my attention. Do we know each other Mackus?
If not (I doubt you do), then how can you draw such conclusions?
Maybe take your own advice?

No personal interaction, but I think your judgmental character attacks of players that you put into articles are completely inappropriate, unprofessional and not worthy of being called journalism. They are just agenda-driven hit pieces. Goes back to Eugene Monroe. I'm not sure I could point to another example, that escapade was so off-putting to me that I haven't paid attention to much else. If you've since apologized and retracted those articles and I missed it, then that would change my perspective. But having not seen that, reading about you criticizing a fan for their awful behavior rang hollow to me.
Your writers are terrific, Brian and Ken especially. Thanks for running the site.

You judge me based upon alleged character attacks that are in your words, "agenda-driven" but you can't quite recall the attacks (plural) other than Eugene Monroe who last played for the Ravens over 7 years ago? Really? I'm the sanctimonious one?
So what exactly is the agenda sir? What are the character attacks inherent in this piece about Eugene Monroe?
Just curious to learn how this is unprofessional and not worthy of journalism.

Why is there a photo of his family in this article and questions about how he's going to provide for future generations? Oh, I see, he isn't motivated enough because he doesn't wanna use opioids to manage his pain. Its just utter trash. Calling him soft is obnoxious enough, I argued with several people recently when some were throwing that around with Stanley this year, but this drivel goes way beyond just criticizing his toughness and delves far beyond where anyone has the right to go to analyze someone's performance as a football player.
Its judgmental crap. I realize I'm judging you for your judgmentalness and intolerance, I can't really deconflict that, but seeing as I didn't miss a retraction & apology and that you obviously stand behind these writings, I'm comfortable with it.

Wow, is all I can say about the article. Just blatant, shoddy journalism and someone that I assure you, would never have the balls to say any of that to Monroe's face. It smacks of the National Enquirer and driven by some personal vendetta based on something infantile.

Hopefully the Ravens were able to identify this guy, invalidate his PSL, cancel his season ticket, and ban him from the stadium for life. It's time to send a message about this behavior. I have no issue with booing the team, or individual players or coaches, within the stadium, as long as racist or vulgar comments are not included. But harassing people outside of the field is unacceptable.

Why is there a photo of his family? Because the article spoke to providing for them. See the connection? It was this one:
